I have made a new steam menu requested by Phillip from PlanetPhillip.com . This menu adds links to menu of the sites Features and download areas, Also contains version for internal linking (Opens links inside steam – Which is not recommended if you are going to download, as steam doesn’t handle that function at the moment) and external linking (opens in your default browser).

How to install:

I have included install versions for steam skins and what menu you want.

No custom skin install: Go into “Steam Forums menu\” and then choose the type you want, Say i want both menus i then go into that folder and drag and drop everything from the steam folder “Clean steam install\Both menus\steam” into your real steam folder E.G “E:\steam”.

Custom skin install: This is pretty much the same as above but you go here and chose your skin version and then menu version “Steam Forums menu\Steam skins install\”

Restart steam after copying the files!

I’ve just made a steam menu for Alan wake, This menu can either be added to your friends list panel, or the main steam panel. This menu has many direct links to things like news, Alan wake website, these forums and more.

How to install:

Plain steam version: Drag and drop the Resource and Public folders from the version you want into the steam folder. Press yes to any over right warning and then restart steam.

For people with custom skins: Drag and drop the Resource and Public folders from the version you want and from the skin folder you have into the skin folder at steam/skins/. Press yes to any over right warning and then restart steam.

What to name this beast?
I Don’t believe this needs a name, As it tears through anything you can throw at it.

Why not water cooling you may ask?
The reason is because pumps are normally quite load and personally I don’t like water cooling, I would rather have fans right case you wont hear them especially while playing games with the massive 5.1 surround you wont ever notice!

Why only 2 Monitors, Why not the full 3?
Because i only like to play on one screen, I don’t see the fuss about having it spread over 3 monitors. Yes it may be more immersive but you get sides of the monitors in the way and Lots of space used. One monitor is enough and the second is just for work or chat programs while playing.

Why Havant you added any 3D stuff?
I didn’t add anything 3d as its just a gimmick, It may look great in some games and films but has the draw backs of annoying glasses and can make you feel sick after a while and headaches. I just believe its not worth the effort or money, 3D was New and cool so many years ago now, its just old and a console selling point now.

This would be my dream PC, Not only is it perfect for gaming. Its good for work as-well with perfect ram and power for 3d modelling and animation.
